Point-One Home Theater Speaker Systems
Fosgate Audionics Unveils New Line of Monitors and
Powered Subs
Tempe, Ariz. - Fosgate Audionics, a product
development and engineering company recently acquired by Rockford
Corporation, has announced the launch of four passive monitors
and three powered subwoofers for home theater and stereo applications.
These new units are scheduled to begin shipping in September
2001.
All four of the monitor speakers use impressive,
24db/octave Linkwitz Riley crossovers and have dual 5-way
binding posts for bi-wiring and bi-amplification. All of the
drivers have very large motor structures. These monitors are
available in three real wood finishes; maple, cherry and black
ash.
The Fosgate Audionics Monitor speaker line
consists of the FA51.1 (5-1/4 inch two-way), the FA61.1 (6-inch
two-way), the FA52.1 (5-1/4 inch DAppolitto), and the
FA62.1 (6-inch DAppolitto).
All Fosgate Audionics subwoofers have adjustable
24db/octave crossovers and low level RCA inputs. The current
line consists of the FA8.1 (8-inch powered subwoofer with
200-watt Transana amp), FA10.1 (10-inch powered
subwoofer with 200-watt Trans Ana amp), and the FA12.1 (12-inch
powered subwoofer with 200-watt Trans Ana amp).
